Coldplay, commonly stylized or sometimes written as "Cold Play", is a British rock band formed in London in 1996 by Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. One of the world’s best-selling music acts, Coldplay rose to international prominence with their 2000 debut album Parachutes and hits such as "Yellow" and "Clocks"; they are known for large-scale arena and stadium tours blending rock and pop elements and have won multiple Grammy Awards.
